“Must be nice”, The Story we tell ourselves when we are stuck.

There’s a phrase women toss around when life feels heavy and unfair.

“Must be nice.”

We say it about someone who left their toxic job.
About someone who’s calm and grounded.
About someone who finally set boundaries.
About someone who looks like they have clarity and momentum.

But here’s the truth most people don’t want to admit:

“Must be nice” is usually the sound of our own stuck patterns talking.

Not jealousy.
Not anger.
Not judgment.
Just a quiet ache inside that says, I want that too, but I don’t know how to create it.

And the minute you hear that phrase come out of your mouth, or even float through your brain, that’s your signal:

You’re overdue for movement.

Movement breaks the spell.

We repeat the same emotional and behavioral loops because we’ve been practicing them for years. Survival mode becomes familiar. Predictable. Automatic.

Movement interrupts the autopilot.

Not just physical movement although that matters more than people realize.
But internal movement too.

• shifting a thought
• shifting a boundary
• shifting what you tolerate
• shifting whose voice you prioritize
• shifting your environment
• shifting the pace of your life
• shifting your own damn mind

Clarity doesn’t drop from the sky.
It’s created through motion.

When you move differently, you see differently.
And when you see differently, you choose differently.

That’s when things actually change.

The real meaning behind “must be nice.”

Whenever someone says:

“Must be nice to have clarity.”
“Must be nice to be confident.”
“Must be nice to leave a job you hate.”
“Must be nice to start something new.”

What they’re really saying is:

“I don’t know how to get myself there yet.”

Yet.

And that’s the part that matters.

Because clarity isn’t a personality trait.
It’s built.
It’s practiced.
It’s strengthened the same way you strengthen a muscle through consistent movement.

Where I’m taking this next.

I’m building a series of workshops for women who want to:

• stop running their old patterns
• move out of survival mode
• reconnect with themselves
• and make decisions that support their future, not their fears

Not mindset-only.
Not fitness-only.
But a hybrid of both because your body and your clarity are always talking to each other.

If you want to get notified when the workshops launch, drop a comment or join my Substack list.

And the next time you hear “must be nice” in your head?

Pay attention.
It’s just your clarity knocking.
It’s time to move.
